The joys of shipping your art overseas

Dear USPS, congratulations. You've outdone yourself. I sent a package to my friend (a personal gift, carefully wrapped, and paid for in full) and somehow, magically, it vanished into the Bermuda Triangle that is your system. And what did I get when I reported it? Nothing. You made it so foreign mail senders could not file formal complaints anymore. Brilliant, I must admit. My friend decided to step into action and file the complaint himself... Now guess what was USPS response: a one month late shrug in email form and a customer service experience that felt like yelling into a void. This wasn't just some random box of junk. It was a gift. Personal. Sent with care. And now it's either sitting in a dusty forgotten bin (highly unlikely) in some facility or —let’s call it what it is— stolen. You know what’s worse than a missing package? The complete lack of accountability. You lost it? Fine, accidents happen. But then do something about it. Investigate. Apologize. Offer a refund. Don't just brush me off like I'm a nuisance for expecting you to do your job. I paid for a service, you didn’t deliver. I can't think of a situation where this would be acceptable. Now I'm left empty-handed, and so is my friend. But sure, keep pretending like everything's running smoothly while people's stuff keeps disappearing. Even mail workers here in Spain are fed up with your utter negligence, the constant complaints rushing in despite the fact that there's nothing the Spanish post can do about theft of mail by US post workers. USPS, if your idea of customer service is replying to emails one month later with an empty “sorry, we haven't seen it, sucks to be you,” then bravo. Mission accomplished. Sincerely,

Now tell me why the fuck would the workers open, ravage and steal a PERSONAL parcel whose contents were watercolour paintings, a PERSONAL letter (yes, in this year of 2025), some teabags and a chocolate bar. 

Greedy ass thieves. They deserve to be fired. Bunch of assholes.
